Lose weight

There are many things to consider when trying to lose weight. Everyone's body will react differently to a weight loss or exercise program. Some will gain muscle faster, for others it may take more time and effort.

The rate at which you will lose weight depends entirely on your body, your commitment and the plan you decide on. The first thing you need to do is change the way you look at weight loss. If you go into it dreading the very idea and dread it each day you are on your new plan, the chances for failure are great. You have to try to focus on the positive aspects of what you are about to accomplish.

Focus on how being your ideal weight will make you feel. The benefits you may see in your health. Set your mind to accept the plan you have chosen. That actually works for anything you set out or are required to do. Accept that you need to make the change and the change is easier to make.

Before you begin, try to make sure you don't have any major distractions that will keep you from your goal to lose weight. Less negative distractions mean more positive results.

Keep a progress journal. In this journal write out what you do each day. What you eat, the exercises your did, even when you cheat. Cheating is okay every once in a while, but keeping track will help you cheat less. You could have a specific day when you allow your self some leniency, but be careful, you do not want to undo what you have already accomplished.

Aside from your weight loss goal, give yourself something to look forward to. Give yourself a reward to look forward to once you lose weight. I am pretty sure the most common would be a shopping trip, after all you are smaller now so you have to have new clothes right? You could also give yourself some kind of trip. Someplace you have always wanted to go to. I wish you well in your effort to lose weight, you can choose to succeed the choice is yours.
